KingdomWaves Surf School was started in 2005 by local surfer Tom Leen. Tom had spent many years living and working abroad in Australia before returning home to set up County Kerry’s first dedicated surf school at both Banna and Inch beach. He has been coaching at home and abroad for over 15 years and has gained a lot of surf experience from travelling and surfing all over the world on a yearly basis.
The aim of Kingdomwaves has always been to encourage people of all ages and abilities, locals and tourists alike, to make use of the great waves that Kerry has to offer and take up the great sport of surfing we all know and love.
At Kingdomwaves every one of our crew genuinely both live to surf and love to teach…and have a lot of experience in both! You can be sure you will be in safe hands and that you will get your surfing experience off to the perfect start.
